Happy New Year! This is Sato from Shusupo!
I look forward to your continued support for Shusupo Online and Sato in 2026!
In this blog, the baseball-loving staff at Shusupo will be providing
information related to baseball.
This time...
I'd like to talk about the new MP5 model added from 2025!
The glove size is roughly the same as the popular SR1 and T51 models,
making it a suitable size for any infield position.
The most notable feature is the "pocket depth,"
which has been deepened to be highly valued in today's baseball world where batted balls are getting faster.
Also, the pocket itself is narrower, preventing the ball from moving around when caught.
Upon hearing "MP5," I'm sure Kubota Slugger fans and glove enthusiasts must have thought, "Hmm?"
You're probably wondering if there was already an "MP4" model number, right? (・∀・)ニヤニヤ
It's like, "I wanted the sizing of the T51 while keeping the good qualities of the MP4!" (lol)
It's easy to understand when you compare them like this, isn't it?
I think watching the video will give you a better idea of what each one is like!
We tried shaping it with a pinky-out style, and the response was great; it sold out quickly!
The MP4 is highly recommended for players who play third base, or those who started playing in the outfield in junior high school,
but find regular outfield gloves too big (´;ω;`)ウッ…
I have a feeling that if its recognition spreads, it will sell out in no time...
~Summary~
Kubota Slugger creates new model numbers every year.
It's irresistible for baseball and glove lovers (・∀・)ニヤニヤ
Many people think of Slugger gloves as shallow,
but the size, pocket depth, and usage vary by model number, so it's a good idea to consult with a shop staff to decide (・∀・)ニヤニヤ
