Pre-broken-in: [Wilson] WILSON STAFF DUAL Limited Edition Hardball Infield Glove, D5 Model, Spring/Summer 2026

This is a hardball infielder's glove from the DUAL series, which is synonymous with Wilson gloves.

DUAL refers to a structure with two lines (haphazard stitching) on each finger.
While standard gloves have one, the DUAL series has two, making it more resistant to the force of the ball during catches. When catching the ball with the finger portion, the DUAL structure allows the ball to drop into the pocket, enabling a smooth grip change.

It adopts the D5 pattern.
This model is also used by Jose Altuve, who plays an active role in MLB's Houston Astros. The pocket is centered in the glove, making it easy to handle, allowing for accurate catches of sharp hits and precise fielding. Additionally, it has one hinge, making it recommended for players who prefer a glove that feels naturally open.

The leather used is Pro Stock Steerhide from North America. It is free of quirks and familiar to any hand, regardless of the user.
The back leather uses SuperSkin. This is Wilson's unique leather, which is about half the weight of normal leather while having about twice the durability. Furthermore, it is excellent at repelling water and preventing stains.

It comes with the "Koyuni" (small thumb) break-in, recommended by the manufacturer and directly taught by Wilson's Nakata. (Tozaki player model) The thumb stands firm, creating a pocket that makes reverse-single catches easier. Additionally, using "Koyuni" removes unnecessary force and improves handling.
