[D-Quest] STEP UP GATE Youth Glove

This is a glove from the popular "STEP UP GATE" series for D-Quest juniors.

If a player gets into the habit of catching the ball with the web (net part), it is said that it becomes difficult to improve at fielding ground balls because the motion after catching the ball and before throwing it becomes sluggish. To enable catching with the entire palm, the pocket is positioned slightly deeper, suppressing the floating of the surface. This allows for catching in a firm position, making gripping smoother and throwing easier.

The band uses material also used in wetsuits. With its flexibility and elasticity, it fits snugly around the wrist. At the same time, it reduces the floating of the catching surface, making it easier to close the glove and less likely for the ball to bounce off.

This glove was developed for young boys and girls who are starting to enjoy baseball, with the sole focus on "catching and throwing the ball."
