[D-Quest] STEP UP GATE Youth Glove

This is a glove from D-Quest's popular "STEP UP GATE" series for juniors.

It is said that if a player gets into the habit of catching the ball with the web (the netting part), the movement from catching the ball to throwing it becomes poor, making it difficult to improve at fielding ground balls. By creating a slightly deeper pocket position that allows the entire palm to catch the ball, the floating of the surface is suppressed, and the ball can be caught in a firm position. This allows for a smoother grip and easier throwing.

The band part uses a material also used in wetsuits. It is flexible and elastic, so it fits snugly around the wrist. At the same time, it reduces the floating of the catching surface, making it easier to close the glove and less likely to bounce the ball.

This glove was developed for boys and girls who are starting to enjoy baseball, with the sole focus on "catching and throwing the ball."
