【SSK】 Proedge Hardball Glove, Infield Model, Spring/Summer 2025

This is the 2025 Spring/Summer model of SSK's top-of-the-line proedge series hardball infielder's glove.

It adopts the 844 model. This model is also used by Takeya Nakamura, who plays an active role in the Seibu Lions, and Ryoichi Adachi, a former Orix player who was a master of defense and retired from active play in the 2024 season. The pocket is formed closer to the index finger from under the web, making it ideal for players who "want to use it shallow" or "catch with a scoop."

The web uses a "cross web," which is said to be able to withstand faster batted balls than an H-web. The web is less likely to loosen, which supports quick glove changes.
