〈Pre-formed〉[Wilson] WANNABE HERO DUAL Soft-Field Infielder Glove, 86 Model, Fall/Winter 2025 Model

This is a limited edition soft baseball glove not sold in Japan.

Its most distinctive feature is the use of Spin Control Leather, commonly known as "Spicon," on the catching surface and web. This embossed leather provides high grip, helping to catch and secure the ball.

DUAL refers to a structure where each finger has two lines (hamidashi/binding).
Unlike standard gloves which have one line, the DUAL series has two, making it more resistant to the force of the ball upon impact. When catching with the fingers, the DUAL structure allows the ball to fall into the pocket, facilitating a smooth transition to throwing.

The popular "86 type" is used for the shape.
It is used by a wide range of players, from professional baseball players to famous baseball YouTubers.
Three vertical pockets allow for faster transitions.

SuperSkin is used for the back leather. This is Wilson's unique leather, which is about half the weight of regular leather while having approximately twice the durability. Furthermore, it is excellent at repelling water and resisting dirt.

It has been shaped with the "Koyuni" method, directly taught by Wilson's Goshi Nakata, as recommended by the manufacturer (Tomozaki player model). The firmly standing thumb creates a pocket, making it easy to catch backhand. Additionally, the Koyuni shape removes unnecessary force, improving handling.
