Pre-broken in: Wilson Staff Dual Limited Edition Hardball Infield Glove, Model 1723, Spring/Summer 2026

This is a hardball infielder's glove from Wilson's DUAL series, a name synonymous with Wilson gloves.

DUAL refers to the structure where each finger has two lines (hamidashi).
Unlike regular gloves, which have one, the DUAL series has two, making it more resistant to the force of the ball when catching. When catching with the fingers, the DUAL structure allows the ball to fall into the pocket, enabling smooth transitions.

The model is 1723.
Based on the popular 87 model, the thumb and pinky finger lengths have been slightly shortened. The wristband features an "Arch Fitter" specification, which enhances fit and improves handling.

The leather used is North American Pro Stock Steer Leather. It has no quirks and adapts to any user's hand.
The back of the glove uses SuperSkin. This is Wilson's unique leather, which is about half the weight of regular leather while offering approximately twice the durability. Furthermore, it is excellent at repelling water and resisting dirt.

It comes pre-shaped with the "Ko-Yuni" (pinky-in) style, a technique directly passed down by Wilson's Goshi Nakata, as recommended by the manufacturer. (Modeled after Shusuke Tonosaki's style.) The firmly upright thumb creates a pocket, making it easier to catch reverse singles. Additionally, the Ko-Yuni style helps relax unnecessary tension, improving handling.
