Pre-broken-in: Wilson Staff DUAL Limited Hardball Glove, Infield, Model 1723, Spring/Summer 2026

This is a hardball infielder's glove from the DUAL series, which is synonymous with Wilson gloves.

DUAL refers to a structure where each finger has two lines (piping).
While regular gloves have one line, the DUAL series has two, making it more resistant to the force of the ball upon catching. When catching a ball with the fingers, the DUAL structure allows the ball to drop into the pocket, making transfers smoother.

The model is 1723.
Based on the popular 87 model, the thumb and pinky finger lengths have been slightly shortened. The band section features an "Arch Fitter" specification, which enhances fit and improves handling.

The leather used is Pro Stock Steer Leather from North America. It has no peculiarities, making it adaptable to any user's hand.
The back leather uses SuperSkin. This is Wilson's unique leather, which is about half the weight of regular leather while being about twice as durable. Furthermore, it is excellent at repelling water and resisting dirt.

This glove has been pre-formed with the "Koyuni" shape, recommended by the manufacturer and directly taught by Wilson's Gota Nakata (Tonoaki's model). The thumb stands firmly, creating a pocket and making it easy to catch with a reverse single. Additionally, the Koyuni shape reduces unnecessary force, improving handling.
