Pre-broken-in Wilson WANNABE HERO Adult Soft Baseball Glove, Infield, D5 pattern, 2025 Spring/Summer Model

This is an infielder's glove from Wilson's popular "WANNABE HERO" series for soft baseball.

It uses the D5 model. This model is also used by Jose Altuve, who plays for the MLB Houston Astros. It has a pocket in the center of the glove, making it easy to handle and reliably catch sharp ground balls and make accurate plays.

DUAL refers to a structure with two lines (hame-dashi) on each finger. Simply put, hame-dashi are like the "pillars of the glove." While normal gloves have one, the DUAL series has two, making it resistant to the force of the ball when catching. In addition, the two-finger pinky slot allows for a firm grip even on fast balls.

This glove has been pre-shaped by Wilson's Mitsuhiko Nakamura, following his "koyuni" (pinky-in) method. (Modeled after Shuto Tonosaki's style) The thumb stands up firmly, creating a pocket that makes it easy to catch backhand. Also, by using the koyuni method, unnecessary tension is released, improving handling.
