[D-Quest] STEP UP GATE Youth Glove

This is a glove from D-Quest's popular "STEP UP GATE" series for juniors.

It is said that if children develop the habit of catching the ball with the web (the mesh part) of the glove, their movements become sluggish after catching the ball and before throwing it, which makes it difficult to improve their ground ball catching skills. By creating a slightly deeper pocket that allows the ball to be caught with the entire palm, the glove prevents the surface from lifting, allowing for a firm catch. This makes gripping the ball smoother and throwing easier.

The band uses a material also found in wetsuits. Its flexibility and elasticity provide a snug fit around the wrist. At the same time, it reduces the lifting of the catching surface, making it easier to close the glove and less likely for the ball to bounce off.

This glove was developed for young boys and girls who are starting to enjoy baseball, focusing solely on "catching and throwing the ball."
