This is a limited edition hardball outfield glove from Rawlings' popular "PRO PREFERRED" series.
It adopts the RT80 pattern.
This is a model of Ryosuke Tatsumi, a defensive master from Rakuten Eagles who has won the Golden Glove Award four times. At 33cm, it's large and opens wide, making it strong in difficult catches.
It is recommended for players who use a "vertical" style, gripping with the thumb and pinky finger.
The surface leather of the glove is Canadian Kip leather, which is characterized by its fine, durable fibers and moist texture.
The lining (where the hand goes) uses Japanese cowhide leather processed with Rawlings' unique method. It is highly gripping, allowing the glove and hand to become one and giving a bare-hand feel when handling the glove.
