Pre-formed: Wilson D-MAX DUAL - Junior - 7J Model

This is a junior glove, model 7J, from Wilson's popular "D-MAX DUAL" series.

DUAL refers to the structure with two lines (webbing) on each finger.
Simply put, webbing acts like a "pillar" for the glove. While regular gloves have one webbing, the DUAL series has two, making it resistant to the force of a ball when catching. Additionally, with the pinky finger designed for two fingers, you can firmly grasp even fast-hit balls.

With the band-fit adjustment, even players with small hands can improve the fit by simply pulling the strap.

The flat binding structure reduces pain in the index finger by using special stitching on the edge of the leather where the index finger protrudes.

The back leather uses SuperSkin. This is Wilson's unique leather, which is about half the weight of regular leather yet twice as durable. Furthermore, it is excellent at repelling water and resisting stains.

The manufacturer recommends the "Ko-Yuni" (pinky-in) shaping method, directly taught by Wilson's Goshi Nakata (modeled after Sotogaki's player type). The thumb stands firmly, creating a pocket that makes it easy to catch backhands. Additionally, the Ko-Yuni design reduces unnecessary tension and improves handling.
