【Wilson】 WILSON STAFF DUAL Hardball Glove Outfielder Model D8

This is the D8 model hardball outfielder's glove from the DUAL series, which is synonymous with Wilson gloves.

DUAL refers to the structure where each finger has two lines (welted edges).
Simply put, welted edges are like the "pillars of the glove". While standard gloves have one, the DUAL series has two, making it less likely to be overwhelmed by the force of a caught ball.

The D8 model is Wilson's flagship outfielder's model. It's the same model used by Masataka Yoshida, who is active with the MLB Boston Red Sox. Its features allow for a wide opening and a deep pocket to securely catch batted balls.

The leather used is Pro Stock Steerhide from North America. It's free of quirks and familiar to any hand, regardless of the user.

The back of the glove uses Superskin leather. This is Wilson's unique leather, which is about half the weight of normal leather while having about twice the durability. Furthermore, it excels at repelling water and resisting dirt.

You can also choose the "Koyuni" molding, directly taught by Wilson's Mitsuhiko Nakamura, as recommended by the manufacturer. The thumb stands firmly, creating a pocket that makes it easy to catch balls with a reverse single. Also, by using Koyuni, unnecessary force is released, improving handling.
