【Wilson】 WILSON STAFF DUAL Hardball Glove - Outfielder - D8S Model

This is a hardball outfielder's glove from Wilson's DUAL series, which is synonymous with Wilson gloves.

DUAL refers to the structure where each finger has two lines (or "hamidashi," which means protruding or bulging parts).
Hamidashi can be simply described as the "pillars of the glove." While regular gloves have one such pillar, the DUAL series has two, making it harder for the ball's momentum to overcome the glove when catching.

The D8S model is approximately 6mm smaller than the D8 model. Its compact size makes it feel lighter and improves handling. However, like the D8 model, the glove opens wide, allowing for a deep pocket to securely catch batted balls.

The leather used is North American Pro Stock Steerhide. It is versatile and fits any user's hand without anyクセ (peculiarities).

The back of the glove uses SuperSkin. This is Wilson's unique leather, which is about half the weight of regular leather while being approximately twice as durable. Furthermore, it repels water and prevents dirt from adhering.

We also offer "Ko-yuni" shaping, a technique directly taught by Wilson's Mitsuhiko Nakamura. With the thumb firmly upright, a pocket is formed, making it easy to catch balls with a backhand. Additionally, the Ko-yuni shape helps release unnecessary tension, improving handling.
