[Wilson] WILSON STAFF DUAL Hardball Glove, Pitcher Model, DB Type, 2025 Spring/Summer Model

This is the 2025 Spring/Summer model of the hardball pitcher's glove from Wilson's DUAL series, which is synonymous with Wilson gloves.

DUAL refers to a structure with two lines (Hami-dashi, or welt) on each finger.
While conventional gloves have one, the DUAL series has two, making it resistant to the force of the ball upon catching. When catching the ball with the fingers, the DUAL structure allows the ball to fall into the pocket, enabling a smoother transfer.

It adopts the DB model.
This is the smallest model among Wilson's pitcher gloves.
The main feature is its "ko-yuni specification." This means the finger cover is on the middle finger. It is said that adopting the ko-yuni style, due to body structure, makes it harder for the left shoulder to open, which can increase pitching speed.

The leather used is Pro Stock Steerhide from North America. It is free ofクセ (idiosyncrasies or stiffness), making it easy to break in and suitable for any user.

The manufacturer recommends the "ko-yuni" break-in method, directly taught by Wilson's Mitsuhiko Nakamura. The thumb stands firm, creating a pocket that makes it easy to catch reverse singles. Additionally, the ko-yuni style removes unnecessary tension, improving handling.
