[Wilson] WILSON STAFF DUAL Limited Edition Hardball Glove for Infielders, DS Model, Spring/Summer 2025

This is a DS model hardball infielder's glove from Wilson's DUAL series, which is synonymous with Wilson's gloves.
It is the smallest infielder's glove in Wilson's lineup.
It is the signature model of Jose Altuve, who plays for the MLB Houston Astros.

The DS model and the 27 model are basically the same in terms of size, pocket depth, etc.
The differences are that the DS model does not have a thumb pad, the heel is a double horizontal lacing, and the pinky finger side of the palm is slightly narrower.
This is a JAPAN spec model, meticulously researched and refined to suit the playing styles of Japanese players.It is a standard model of Wilson Staff infielder's glove that is highly supported and well-received by many players.

DUAL refers to the structure where each finger has two lines (binding).
The binding is, in short, like the "pillar of the glove." While regular gloves have one binding, the DUAL series has two, making it less likely to be overwhelmed by the force of the ball when catching. Also, with the two-finger pinky slot, you can firmly grasp even fast balls.

The leather used is North American Pro Stock Steerhide. It is neutral and adapts well to any user's hand.
The back of the glove features SuperSkin. This is Wilson's unique leather, which is about half the weight of regular leather while having about twice the durability. Furthermore, it is excellent at repelling water and resisting dirt.

It comes pre-broken-in with the "Koyuni" (small pinky finger) style, as taught by Wilson's Mitsuhiko Nakamura. (Tozaki player model) The thumb stands firm, creating a pocket that makes reverse single catches easier. Additionally, using the Koyuni style allows for unnecessary tension to be released, improving handling.
